What I do at CIL Management Consultants
My role as CIL's Knowledge Manager is to lead the K&C Team. The team and function are new, and my role for the last year since I joined CIL has been to set up all the necessary processes needed for the K&C function to run, and to scope and implement the projects needed to move the business forwards. With the function being so new and the scope of our work so broad, there is never a dull day.
Who am I?
I have worked in Knowledge & operations management for my entire career after discovering this as a career path as a uni graduate. When I finished my degree I didn't know what I wanted to do, and I have really enjoyed my focus on knowledge management given the breadth of the role and how central you are to the core of the business.
Advice for prospective candidates
The Knowledge & Collaboration Team at CIL are a critical element of CIL's operational running. Keep this in mind during your application and know that this isn't a 'back office' role where your hard work will go unnoticed. You will be making real change happen and impacting the whole business.
